Manish Deopura is an entrepreneur, innovator, investor and consulting professional with over 10+ years of experience specializing in the core aspects of execution and implementation. He has helped a broad cross-section of organizations, including public companies, family businesses and start-ups companies to help develop strategies for growth, create nimble, agile and responsive organizations, build people capabilities and improve overall operations.  He is passionate about leadership development at all levels within client teams, not only by imparting those skills within management teams but also fully engaging individual contributors in these efforts.

 

He provides consulting services working in various capacities including taking on interim executive management roles. He has worked in a diverse set of industries globally within public & private firms, start-ups and family businesses. He has published extensively and has been an invited speaker at international conferences, industry symposiums, companies and universities. Manish has over 30+ US and international patents to his credit. Manish carries a breadth of business and technical expertise. He is known for his ability to quickly investigate issues, diagnose problems, develop systematic implementation plans and help channelize execution efforts and he is recognized for his thought and implementation leadership skills to help CEOs and top management successfully work through the most challenging and difficult issues affecting businesses.

 

Manish’s own business, organizational and leadership successes have helped him shape the direction of Kamnor consulting and in turn through the client engagements create economic benefits for all his clients. He has background and expertise in multiple functional areas including Organizational Development, Business Operations, Sales, Product Development and Engineering with diverse industry exposure including in semiconductors, manufacturing, chemicals industry, software and on-line retailing. He has successfully created business value in multiple endeavors, including in his own businesses, a couple of which have been acquired. In large part, Manish credits his success to his childhood experiences of leadership; since, then, these qualities of leadership, organization, and execution continue to be his anchor. He is committed to sharing these ideas and practices with others in multiple settings including in businesses, in one-on-one assignments and other community development activities.

 

An excerpt in his own words: "I was 12 years old when I initiated and organized a local carnival which was attended by over 300 people. I was amazed that I mobilized friends, persuaded initially hesitant neighborhood folks including parents of my friends, managed vendors and publicized the event to make it successful. And, we turned up a decent profit. Little did I know then, that I would look back at this event with so much fondness and that this experience would serve as one of life-long inspiration for myself. Today, I look to similarly use and share these leadership and execution qualities as an instrument for advancement in business and life, on a larger global stage."

 

Manish has studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) - he obtained an MS and PhD in Engineering and a Minor in Business Administration and Management. Manish received his undergraduate degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
